Photoshop.

Intro:

The photoshop class began with the basics. We learned the most common tools and did a few projects out of our books. Then the instructor had us bring in lots of scanned photos. All of our projects for the rest of the semester consisted of creating combinations of the pictures we had scanned.

My first project consisted of a picture my dad took in Amsterdam, the car the belong to the vice president of my university, the Statue of Liberty and a picture of myself taken at Comdex.

The second projects consisted of the lobby of the hotel Luxor in Las Vegas, my dog, the head of the sphinx outside the hotel, banner from comdex and a poster form QuakeCon.

The next picture I created began with myself and my fiance at Joe's. Then you add is an inflatable alien, my dog again, some name cards and a neon sign. Blam, there you go!

The last project we did was by far the most enjoyable. We began by scanning the student ID's of everyone in class. We were then given the task of creating some new "classmates" using the photo we had scanned. Let's look at the process:

We'll begin with the base photo.

Next we'll add some new eyes.

Then a new mouth gets added in.

Then we'll squeeze in the hair and jaw line
of someone else from class.

Colorize just a little.

And add some grain just to finish it off..

Below are two more new classmates I created as well:
